The interviews thus indicate that teachers and students experienced the experiment as a glimpse into a professional setting where students were well prepared and where participants focused on a number of important aspects of rehearsal and chamber music activities. Both students and teachers also found this way of working to be effective, time-saving and intense. One of the teachers in the Australian group that worked together for a week said that: «I don't think there would be a chamber group I've ever seen here that would have been up to that standard in a week, not even close» (Australian teacher), while one of the students expressed it like this:
«It was like working professionally: We had four rehearsals and then a concert. Normally we have thousands of rehearsals in chamber music. It was a much more efficient process.»
(Norwegian student)
These participants thus seem to think that the process was faster and more efficient, and that the level was surprisingly high for the short period of time given.
