Pianist Søren Rastogi is educated at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin and the Royal Danish Academy of Music Copenhagen with teachers Tove Lønskov, Pascal Devoyon and Niklas Sivelöv. Søren is in great demand as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist, both in his Danish homeland and internationally. In addition to his work as soloist, Søren has a close collaboration with leading Scandinavian singers, is often used as a sonata partner with instrumentalists, and has played recitals with international names such as Vilde Frang, Andreas Brantelid, Narek Hakhnazaryan, Sergei Dogadin, Benjamin Schmid among many others. Søren has taught at DKDM and the Opera Academy since 2008 and is now primarily involved in teaching in connection with the reflection assignment and development projects. He is also an associate professor in piano at the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus/Aalborg.
