About Tone Åse
Tone Åse is a musician, composer and professor at the department of music, NTNU. She takes part in the Norwegian and European scene of modern improvised music and vocal performance art. Stretching the instrumental capabilities of the voice and the live electronics both as a solo artist and in the improvised interplay, her performances, compositions and releases span from solo work, improv-duos, progrock-impro and vocal ensemble music. This was also her project as a fellow in the Norwegian Artistic Research Program) Her teaching and artistic research areas is vocal, improvisation, and reflection on musical performance.
